This document provides step-by-step instructions to integrate Email-Researcher with Salesforce and seamlessly transfer records.
Once you log in to Salesforce, click the icon in the top-right corner of the screen, then select Setup.
In the Quick Find search box on the left side of the screen, search for and open OAuth and OpenID Connect Settings.
Enable the OAuth and OpenID Connect Flows option and click Save.
Note: Enabling this option unblocks username and password permissions org-wide.
Click on your Profile picture in the top-right corner of the screen, then select Settings.
In the Quick Find search box on the left side of the screen, search for Reset My Security Token and click it.
Click the Reset Security Token button.
Salesforce will send a new security token number to your registered email address.
While logging in to Salesforce via Email-Researcher, enter your password followed by the security token you received via email.
Salesforce mandates that you enter your password and security token (together in the Password field) to log in to your account.
Trying to login without the security token will display the following error:
Salesforce allows you to transfer records to the Lead, Contact, or Account sections.
While logging in to Salesforce via Email-Researcher, click the drop-down arrow and select the section where you want to transfer the records.
The records will be transferred to the selected section (e.g., Lead).
Note: If you want to transfer records to the Account or Contact section, you must disconnect Salesforce from Email-Researcher and log in again to change the selection.
To disconnect, in the Email-Researcher Dashboard, click the drop-down arrow next to your email address in the top-right corner of the screen, then scroll down to All Integrations.
Under Salesforce, click Disconnect.
