This article will demonstrate how to directly transfer contacts from LeadGrabber into your Salesforce CRM account. Please note you need to have a Salesforce Professional account. This direct integration with Salesforce CRM is not permitted by Salesforce if you have a personal or small team edition of Salesforce.
To begin the transfer you should have the records placed in LeadGrabber Pro. Let's start with the records in the project folder grid below:
Step 1: Select records to transfer.
Select the records you like to transfer to Salesforce CRM account. Pick the ones you want, or select all of them.
To transfer to salesforce select the option 'Transfer to Salesforce.com' in the dropdown. Hit 'Transfer' next to the dropdown.
Step 2: Enter Salesforce login credentials.
The Login dialog box opens. Enter your salesforce credentials 'User Name' and 'Password'. This is required only for the first time. These credentials are stored in an encrypted form on your device and hence it's still secure with you.
Hit 'Login' .
LeadGrabber Pro takes less than a minute to complete the login. The status will change to 'Logged in successfully'. Now click 'OK' on the bottom of the dialog box.
In case the login fails and you are asked for a "Security Token", please follow the salesforce instructions to obtain
your security token. After you obtain the Security token, you will typically paste it after your Password in the password box.
Step 3: Complete transfer.
The transfer process begins. You can notice the transfer completed by the change of green tick mark to green triangle. After the last record is transferred to Salesforce, the last record is opened in your default browser, for convenience purposes.
From the next time you try to transfer records into Salesforce, you will not be asked for a password again.
TIP! To make it easy for tracking which records you transferred to Salesforce from LeadGrabber, you can set the Lead Source or any custom field to a static value, like described in the image below.
