Case 1: Importing Excel File into LeadGrabber Pro

Step 1: Prepare Excel

Prepare an Excel which has the necessary fields to find the email address and phone number. 

The minimum fields required to find email and phone numbers are 'Contact Name' and 'Company Name'. If you have company's website you can use it, its optional.

The Excel file can look like this.

Step 2: Importing in LeadGrabber Pro

Open LeadGrabber Pro, on the toolbar above the grid click on leftmost button called 'Import'.

The prepared file will be imported into LeadGrabber Pro using the option called 'Import'.

Step 3: Select the option

The Import dialog box pops up. In which, select the option called 'Microsoft excel file' and click 'Next'.

In the below dialog box, click on 'Browse' and navigate to the file location. Select the file from your device and hit 'Next'.

Step 5: Mapping the fields

After selecting the file, Map the columns in the field.

[If you have the first name and last name separated in our database then choose 'First name' and 'Last name' respectively. If you have full name in one column then select 'Contact' from the dropdown list. For company name select the option called 'Company']

After mapping click on 'Finish'.

[Note: If you are not sure how to map your fields then click on 'Auto Map' to automatically map your fields. You can also save this mapping using 'Save Map'. You can reload this mapping by clicking 'Load Maps']

Step 6: Output view

Once finished, the field in LeadGrabber Pro will look like this.

Case 2: Importing Text / CSV File into LeadGrabber Pro

Prepare a Text/CSV which has the necessary fields to find the email address and phone number.

The minimum fields required to find email and phone numbers are 'Contact Name' and 'Company Name'. If you have company's website you can use it, its optional.

The Text/CSV file can look like this.

Open LeadGrabber Pro, on the toolbar above the grid click on leftmost button called 'Import'.

The prepared file will be imported into LeadGrabber Pro using the option called 'Import'.

The Import dialog box pops up. In which, select the option called 'Text or CSV file(.txt/.csv)' and click 'Next'.

In the below dialog box, click on 'Browse' and navigate to the file location. Select the file from your device and hit 'Next'.

After selecting the file, Map the columns in the fields.

[If you have the first name and last name separated in our database then choose 'First name' and 'Last name' respectively. If you have full name in one column then select 'Contact' from the dropdown list. For company name select the option called 'Company']

After mapping click on 'Finish'.

Prepare a list of contacts you wish to collect emails and phone numbers for.

The minimum fields required to find email and phone numbers are 'Contact Name' and 'Company Name'. If you have company's website you can use it, its optional.

Copy your datasheet with the heading column. (Select the data with heading and press copy shortcut Ctrl+C / left click on the selected items from the dropdown select 'Copy' option).

LeadGrabber Pro can recognize the fields and arrange them automatically.

Open LeadGrabber Pro and Click on 'Paste Record(s)' option in toolbar top left above the grid.

Click on 'Paste from Excel/CSV' from the dropdown menu.

The result will look like this.

Prepare a list of contacts you wish to collect emails and phone numbers for.

Open LeadGrabber Pro and and insert a row. Click on 'Insert' in the toolbar and select 'Insert Row' from the dropdown.

Once Inserted the grid looks like this in the picture below.

For the contact name select the 'Contact' column in the inserted row. (If you are pasting the contacts first) and left click on the cell 

Copy the entire list of 'Company names' from the datasheet. 

(Select the data without header and press copy shortcut Ctrl+C/ left click on the selected records in the drop down select 'Copy' option)

(Note: Do not select the header of the data)

Paste the second / following column from your data sheet as follows.

Left click on the first cell of the targeted column in which it should be exactly equal to the same row where you pasted the first set of records. 

(Incase of misplacing the records the application will not yield the result)

Paste the copied records by clicking on the selected column and press shortcut Ctrl+V / left click on the cell select "Paste" from the dropdown, See the picture below for reference).

In this way, the files can be imported into LeadGrabber Pro.
